Ah! Pat a true friend of later years. A legend of Arklow Golf Club who wore the Club Blazer with distinction at management meetings and at interclub social functions. You raised our club to a level achieved by no other member in the history of the Club.

A great competitor, a great sportsman of the highest integrity but above all a great family man, a great dad and husband who always put family ahead of golf and service to his club, all as it should be.

We were greatly saddened to learn of Pat’s passing.
It was a privilege to be Pat’s GP for the past forty years and in that time we become close friends. He also gave us “ a dig out “ when his expert mechanical skills were required !
Pat was the quintessential gentleman, very knowledgeable about many issues and always had time for a chat.
