Sincere condolences to the Harnett family. Pat was my metal work teacher and when I went to night classes to improve my welding skills he was also my instructor. Very patient with both his time and knowledge and always had had time to listen. I still pass on his wise words to the apprentices that I work with to this day. You find happiness when you least expect it in the most unlikely of places and that was true for me.
RIP Pat.

Not another condolence as such but just to apologise to Marie & Family for the misspelling of Pats 2nd name meant to say Harnett rather than Hartnett I only discovered it earlier on today when reading back over what I posted here yesterday evening & again I'm thinking of Marie & all Pats Family & dear one's on your tremendous loss you all will be very very lost without him now but he's never to far away he will always be there with you & look after each other now in the days weeks months ahead & look after your lovely Mum also she will need it too especially now since losing her lovely Husband take care of one another my sympathies & love to you all ❤️

It is with a deep sadness that we have learned of the passing of Pat. Pat gave great service to the youth of Tullamore through his work in the centre. Every year Pat and PJ built the stage for our annual show allowing the centre to increase the number of young people who could take part.
We would like to extend our sympathise to Pats wife Maraí, his family and many friends at this sad time.

I was really really greatly shocked & very very saddened to find out about the passing of Pat Hartnett I haven't seen both himself & his lovely Wife in 20+ years especially his Wife Marie as I once knew her as Nurse-Hartnett when I worked in the Day care Centre back all them years ago my 1st part-time job also when I 1st moved to Tullamore I wasn't aware that Pat became unwell over the last few years I knew Marie more she was extremely very very good to me when I 1st came to live in Tullamore as a young Girl as they say starting out in life & regardless of not seen you in a very very long time you were so kind caring & generous to me when life was some way difficult for me srarting out especially when I left my home Parents & Family you were 1 of the 1st & nicest people I ever met when I came to Tullamore & I will never forget that or you either I absolutely loved my little job caring & working with the elderly and getting to meet alot of others also whilst I was there I knew you had retired also a good while now so I may address you as Marie or even so Mrs Hartnett but my sincere condolences to you & your Family & I am very very sorry for your huge loss now my thoughts are with you & your Family also & just to say a "MASSIVE MASSIVE THANK YOU TRULY FOR BEING SO SPECIAL TO ME & FOR BEING 1 OF A KIND WHO I CALL MYSELF VERY VERY LUCKY TO HAVE MET IN MY LIFE WHEN I DID I'LL BE THINKING ABOUT YOU NOW MARIE OVERTIME & TAKE CARE ALSO" WITH DEEPEST REGAURDS M H Xx ♥️ 💔 😢
