So sad to hear this, I was lucky to have had the honour of working with him on many Panto's and he offered much without having to say it. He was always gentle, kind and encouraging to those around him and will always be the King of whichever land he surveys.

Carlow Little Theatre Society is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Pat Kinsella, husband of Marian Brophy, father of Emma O'Brien and grandfather of Lilly-Mae.

Marian's involvement with Carlow Little Theatre goes back many years, in both acting and directing, as has Marian and Pat's daughter, Emma. Last year Emma’s daughter Lilly-Mae became the third generation to tread the boards with the society.

All of us in the Little Theatre would like to express our deepest sympathies with Pat’s family.

My sympathy to you all. My memories of Pat are of a genuinely holy man quietly saying his rosary in a near empty church before mass/ ministering beautifully @ the Mon Service. Singing for us sweetly during the Lourdes Pilgrimage. He will be missed.

With great sadness I learned from Marian on Friday of Pat 's death many wonderful memories came flooding back to me of our ten years doing Pantomime together with our troupe the Carlow Club Players they were happy times and it was always a delight to be in Pat's company we shared many a laugh he was great fun and my heart aches for Marian, Michelle, Simon and Emma and his fantastic grandchildren as well as his brother Sam sisters Marie and Colette at this sad time as we say a fond farewell to Pat who brightened all our lives God Rest him.
