Dear Catherine, John Sean Claire and I are so very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. He was a kind sensitive soul and the heart and soul of many a party. You were an amazing wife Catherine, and your wonderful nursing care ensured he lived a long time with a lot of complex issues. I have no doubt he was surrounded by you and George, Joe, Padraic and Rory and maybe Louise and Doreen at the end which must have been such a comfort for him and you. John and I are very sorry we could not make the funeral. I’m in Lanzarote and there were no available flights from here last Saturday.
