I would like to offer my sincere condolences to all of Pat's family and friends

I worked with Pat for years at CR2 and spent many hours chatting with him about all sorts of things (some work related). He was a very pleasant and thoughtful man and a decent skin too

Many years ago, I was interviewing for a writer to join CR2 when Pat walked in the door. From the very first moment, I knew he was not only brilliant, but also a genuinely kind and lovely human being. He often spoke of Marie and his family, so much so that I felt I knew the whole clan.

When I later moved companies, I was delighted to bring Pat to work again at MTT (which became Travelport). He was known to everyone from the cleaners to the executive team, he always loved a chat :)

Pat wasn’t just a colleague — he was a dear friend. I had enormous respect for him, and all I can do now is extend my most sincere condolences to you all. Pat was a rare gem, and he will be deeply missed.

So sorry to hear of Pat's passing.
I worked with him in CR2 and he was a great man for a chat. I lived locally to him too and we'd often lift-share to work when one of our old cars had given up the ghost. This was a regular occurrence as he had the red Seat at the time and mine was of a similar age.
I'd occasional meet him around the area after his retirement but it's been a long time since that happened.
May he rest in peace.
