What sad news on Mr Mc Sharrys passing.
He was a great English Teacher, and had a unique style , that gave me a love for English Literature.
His Dedication to his craft ,was very admirable.

On behalf of Fr. Griffin's Éire Óg members, we extend our deepest sympathy to the McSharry family and the extended families at this sad time. May Pat rest in peace.
A gifted footballer, he joined Fr. Griffin's at the start of the Golden Era for the club. Pat played at corner back or half back and was known as a stylish footballer. During his time with the club, he won five county senior football titles with the club during the period 1967 to 1975.
Pat also served on club committees during and after his playing days and was along with his wife Maura a regular attendee at club functions. Some great memories.
