Just heard today the shocking news of Pat's untimely passing.
I had the pleasure of working with Pat on and off over our long careers in Revenue, implementing many of the organisation's successful ICT systems. He was one of the most effective managers I have ever worked with and an absolute gentleman.

His contribution to Monaleen Tennis Club while on the committee was immense. His contribution to the Limerick Climbing Club as a committee member and a walk leader was immeasurable. His passion for golf was infectious. Pat's energy and 'can do attitude' will be missed by all. To him, every problem had a solution. It was a pleasure to be in his company.

Geralyn,
It is with great sadness that I learned of the death of Pat. It was only in the early summer that I spent a week with Pat walking and climbing in the Dolomites. As always he was great company. A nicer gentleman and better company you would not get. I have been away the last number of days and did not get to the funeral. My deepest deepest sympathies to you and all your family. We will miss him greatly in Limerick Climbing Club.
