Pat was for many years a stalwart of the club serving on Committee and as both Captain and President. Sincerest condolences to Olive,Edel,Liam,Donie,Fergal & Colm on the sad passing of Pat - I first met him in 1972 in Clonmel through a 3rd man tackle on the football field - it hurt me and that wry smile on Pats face said it all - mission accomplished ! - his gentle approach and wise decisions made him a friend to many. He was one of the founders of the Eastern Region Forestry Society in 1974 and bravely kept it going until the last outing in 2024 - his speeches at the presentation of the prizes was nothing short of legendary - we will all miss him! - Ni beidh a leithead Ann arís !
