It was with great sadness I learned of Pats passing I first met Pat and Mary when I moved to Killala from Dublin in 1997 and they both became dear friends my sincere condolences to all of his family may he rest in peace

It was with great disbelief and sadness we learned of the passing of Pat. He was a friend and loyal customer for 50 years and will be greatly missed. I hope Pat a Mary’s energy lives on out there somewhere. Sincere sympathies to his family.

We all have such fond memories of Pat and Mary on their many fishing trips west to Killala and the Golden Acres. I met Pat and Mary while working in Downeys and over the years got to know them and the incredible love they had for each other. A love not many are lucky to find. R.I.P Pat, we can't believe how the last few weeks have played out. You will be sorely missed by us both. I will miss the conversations in the front garden and the sound of the lawnmower out the back and you chatting to dogs over the wall, especially when you thought nobody was listening.
