Pat was a gentle and caring Gentleman and always a plesure to meet.
When he came with Emma to Russelstown there was always a great sence of fun and chats,Dad god rest him also im certain that theres a place for both of them on Gods right side.

I was saddened to hear of Pat's death. I have fond memories of Pat, partying with 'the lads' at Brothers of Charity Christmas parties (they adored him) and his endless patience on the golf course in Charleville. He was a great story teller, loved a joke and surrounded himself with genuine people who loved a bit of fun. He was a great soul and a pleasure to know, all those years ago. My sympathies to his lovely wife, Ema, and all his family, especially his daughter Ide and grandchildren.

Pat often advised me to take up golf to help settle in when I moved up the country and he was right.

Having told him that I was on holiday's in Lanzarote, he replied "Lanzarote is a resort full of newlyweds and the nearly death" that just summed his wit up.
