Having played rugby with Pat in Ashbourne Rugby Club and then being my landlord for 15 years
I was very saddened to hear this sad news as he always had a smile on his face and some divilement in his head - deepest sympathy to Marie and family.

Such sad news to hear this. Maria, Sinead, Roisin, Orlaith and Eoghan I am so very sorry for your loss. Pat was some man for one man, full of craic and pranks, a few of which I found myself at the end of. We were privaleged to grow up with such a good neighbour and gentleman. He made us a ropeladder when I was about 12 and taught me how to splice a rope, we knocked some craic out of that ropeladder for years hanging out of an old Elm tree in the back garden. Thank you Pat, rest in peace.
