Dear Tracey, Andrea, Adrienne and Darina, My husband, Chris, and I were so pleased to be present at your dear mum's Requiem Mass, streamed from St Joseph's church. It was a beautiful service, especially the details in the eulogy which told us about her life. I had effectively been a lifelong friend since we were infants pupils at St Stephen's school in Welling, Kent, and then at St Joseph's Convent in nearby Abbey Wood until mum left at age fourteen to move to Ireland. We did keep in touch over the years but time and distance did cause some separation until a "60 years" reunion in Sussex in 2001 which brought us all together again including mum, Sally and myself. We former classmates always kept in touch thereafter, marking birthdays especially. Mum and I did meet-up on more occasion when Chris and I were on holiday, touring in Ireland a few years ago. Visiting Dublin, we met-up with mum and dad at home and spent a very pleasant evening together having dinner in the locality.
We always kept in touch afterwards and now may she Rest in Peace. With our Love and Prayers to all your Family, Margaret and Chris.

Dearest Tracy, Andrea, Adrienne and Darina my deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear mother. It's an incredible loss to have to suffer so soon after Joe's passing. They will be back together again now as devoted and happy as they always had been. I will always cherish the happy times we had together in Poulshone. RIP Pat.

What a beautiful funeral mass for your Mum. You guys did her proud and I loved watching you take her out of the church together at the end.

I have so many memories of coming to your home and feeling such joy and love in the family - both your Mum and Dad made me feel so incredibly welcome and your Mum really did have a joy for life that is rarely seen. I often envied the joyful atmosphere in the house - it truly seemed never ending.

My own Mum met yours many years ago - so along with Joe, I'm know Jean is now thrilled to have Pat to chat to - and they are no doubt comparing notes about us their dear daughters...

The loss of both parents in a time where it is increasing difficult to celebrate their life but to also say goodbye and share in the grief with those you love and who loved them also.

So sorry to learn of your mother’s passing so soon after losing your dad, girls. I’m the youngest of all of you dad’s first cousins but even though there was a fair age difference, your folks were very kind to us. We saw quite a bit of them in the early stages of our marriage, almost 42 years ago. I think you visited us here in Skerries with your dad’s boat at one stage. They were both kind and lively people. You must miss them greatly but have great memories. My sister, Eileen McDonald, who has had more than her fair share of sadness in recent times has asked to be remembered to you as well.
