Dear Sean, Ed and Cathy,
I want to offer my sincerest sympathy to you, and to all your families, on the death of your wonderful mother, Pat. I watched her beautiful funeral mass on line, and was moved to tears at your marvellous tributes to her. You gave such a sense of a wonderful mother and adored grandmother, and the halcyon life she provided for you all in Carrickmines and later in Ballyvartry. The letters of love from the grandchildren were unforgettable. I came to know Pat particularly through my daughter, Sarah and her husband, Peter and the Woodcock family. I know how much my grandson Jamie Woodcock adored his camping trips to Ballyvartry for many years. What a wonderful, welcoming family she created for you and all your friends. And what great memories of a brave and feisty lady! I know these memories will sustain you all.
