Pat (Patrick) O'Keeffe

Sincere condolences to all the O Keeffe family, having taught my daughter for some of her first year in Mount Mercy, as well as been a great teacher he added some humour to the class which she really enjoyed. and remembers still.RIP

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr.O'Keeffe. He was an amazing biology teacher and always kept us on our toes....either the fear of God or skitting laughing. He was a gentleman and it was an honour being his student. Much love and peace to all of his loved ones.

His acerbic wit and his ability to always set the cat amongst the pigeons ensured that any conversation involving him was a lively one! Mr.O'Keeffe was the most kind, caring and brilliant teacher. Always interested in his students whether academic or sporting (Athletics and gymnastics). He had great wit and sense of humour. He will be terribly missed and always remembered. May he rest in peace.

Some of my fondest memories in MMC were attending his Biology classes, we were always guaranteed a few laughs along with the all important leaving cert curriculum of '98!
