I only heard today of the passing of Pat
I would like to convey my deepest sympathy to you all at this very sad time
She was such a pleasant lady loved going on the MU outings with her.
May she rest in peace
"Safe in the Arms of Jesus "
My sincere sympathy to Bill and all the family on the recent death of your mother, Pa. I got to know her very well in Carnew Community Care, during the years I frequented the Day Centre. I found Pat to be a lovely, caring and friendly person who gave so much to the Centre and was so involved in all the activities that went on. Pat showed all the traits of a good Christian woman and she was missed when she transferred to Waterford, but that was the right thing for her to do at that time. My prayers are with her and I have no doubt but that she is safely home in heaven.
So very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Sincere sympathy to Bill, Reets & family. She was such a lovely lady, I was privileged to have known her through the Mothers' Union & she will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

To all of Pat's family, especially you, Bill and Reets, my deepest condolences on the death of your mother Pat. I remember meeting you Bill in Pat's house in Carnew Community Care when I was manager there some years ago. Pat was such a wonderful, gracious and kind person. She was so involved in the activities in the Day Centre, especially if singing was part of the occasion. We loved to listen to her beautiful voice, even if, in latter years she would explain "my voice is not as good as it used to be", but she still entertained us. We were blessed to have known such a wonderful Christian woman. May she enjoy the bliss of heaven forever.
Hi Bill, Very sorry to learn of your mother's sad passing from this earth she was in every way one gracious and very talented lady of whose performances particularly at parties I have great memories so may her kind soul rest in the eternal peace that is God's Heavenly kingdom.
Sincere sympathies to all Pat’s family and close friends on the loss of such a kind, elegant and inspirational lady. My fondest memories of Pat are around her great sense of fun, positivity, curiosity, interest in others and of course her beautiful singing. She was a great story teller and certainly lived life to the full. In short a bit of a legend. RIP

To Bill and Reets

Very sad day for you and your wider family, may the peace of God be upon you.

Pat was such a friend to mum (Muriel) over all of those years. If I recall correctly, Pat was mum’s bridesmaid and we saw her from to time. She sang at many of the family funerals so willingly ever where it was difficult. They holidayed together and had mutual stays in each other’s homes.

I always knew Pat as a strong faith filled lady, who could never do enough for people both far and wide. She was always impeccably dressed.

I recall visiting your parents in the nursery and I think you might have been at boarding school at the time. Not so long ago, we called in without any notice one day when we were on holiday and were in the area. She was in great form and entertained us with stories and the very recent loss of her car. She suspected you had a hand in that someway!

When Sally and I took the train to Galway to Dorries funeral, she sat with us and we just about had to put our hands up to be allowed to speak. That happened on both the outward and inward journeys.

The last time I saw you was with your man at the Tinahealy show. We have a photo, if you would like a copy, let me know.

It was a beautiful service today and yourself, Peter and the rector did well.

I would have loved to be there, but with Joy due for surgery on Friday, wisdom prevailed. Sally managed to make it.
