Deepest sympathy to all the Stapleton family on the passing of Pat. I have very fond memories of him going back the years. He was always a great man for a story and so very entertaining. Pat was one of Limerick's best-loved and greatest characters. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Pats passing. Every time I would return to Limerick, spending a half an hour in the company of “himself” and Bridget was always a highlight.
Whether it was talking about politics, his cycling years or what his two Dr.s were up, he was always entertaining. No one could cut hair or give you a shave like him!
A unique, one of a kind, he will be sorely missed.

Such sad news. What a fighter. Never gave up despite his failing health. I have nothing but the greatest admiration for both himself and Brigid. He will be sorely missed. RIP
Deepest sympathy to Bridget and family , I'm dealing with ye since 1965. And know full well how dedicated he was to his profession and his family ! Ye were so close God rest the lovely man.
