My sincere condolences to the family. Paddy became my penfriend in the early 1970s (our birthday is on the same day). Went to see him in Amsterdam, met again while both working in London and we were pleased to have reconnected decades later via the internet, alas while he was being diagnosed with hATTR and fighting for access to Patisiran. I am distraught that because he lived in Eire it came too late for him. May his soul rest in peace.

Pat was the "Robert Redford" in our class going to school. A great school friend that was admired and liked by all. The big lens on his cameras matched his heart.
