It's been a month since you passed away all to quickly from us.. Since then words have failed to come to me to truly say how shocked and saddened we are at the speed you were taken but one song is stuck in my head and I know it meant a great deal to you..

Photographs and Memories "are all that's left"
And we'll treasurer them forever..

Sitting here 1 week later wondering how, why, why you, why so fast, why so unfair. I have no answers. You were my little sister, my only sister. Quiet, unassuming, so loving and giving. A flair for all the things I'm no good at. Different tastes in music, movies, books and probably just about everything. The little sister that when I was young I was told I had to take with me and I just wanted you to disappear. The sister who as a teenager robbed my clothes and I would scream Mam tell her to get that off her. The 5 year gap was huge back then. But we grew up, grew closer and had a bond and friendship that we thought unbreakable. We haven't lived close to each other for lots of our adult lives but we kept in touch, wrote letters when we had no phones, made trips from Dublin to Cork and Cork to Dublin whenever we could. Our kids played and fought together and we grew closer. More recently when we weren't physically together we shared ridiculously long phone calls talking about absolutely nothing in particular and texting back and forth when we weren't talking. This past week I can't believe the number of times I've thought I must tell Trish or text Trish. It breaks my heart we'll have no more long chats or endless texting, no more sleepovers or get togethers. You deserved so much more than the heartbreak of the last few years just know that you were loved and appreciated more than you ever realised and I will miss you always. Chris x
