My deepest condolences to Patricia’s family and friends. I am truly sorry for your loss. Patricia was a guiding light of wisdom and knowledge, and as one of her student and client, I am grateful for all that I learned from her. She inspired so many and helped countless people. Her legacy will live on. May she now roam wild and free, as her beautiful spirit always deserved. Wishing you comfort and healing during this difficult time.

Dear Johnny, Leona, and Conor,

I was so deeply saddened to hear of Patricia’s passing.

I have such warm and joyful memories of Patricia—spending time, helping at the co-op, chatting, and laughing. She once shared an amazing black bean chocolate cake recipe with me—who would have thought beans could taste so good? Patricia had a remarkable talent for making life vibrant, sharing her incredible knowledge about food, and connecting with others.

Her zest for life, passion for helping others, and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know her. She truly made the world a brighter place.
Thinking of you all and celebrating the wonderful and kind person Patricia was.

With love,
Anita Malzone
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to you Johnny, Leona and Conor. Patricia was a such a unique and special person and we always loved her stories of travel and adventure. She lived life to the full and it’s so sad she was taken far too young. She will be sorely missed. Her light will shine on and her energy will live through you. May she rest in peace. Aisling, Vincent, Sean and Oscar (friends at St Kilian’s Deutsche Schule)
My sincere condolences to Johnny, Conor and Leona.

Heartfelt sympathies to all Patricias family and friends at this sad time on her passing. She continues to be an inspiration to me and many more. Taking lifes adventure courageously to bring healing to others. We met at the Weston Price conference in Limerick 2016 when she told her story there. From there I have followed her quest and often have introduced people to her work. I hope you will draw comfort from the worldwide impact she has made in her short life.
So very sorry for your loss Johnny, Leone and Conor. Your wife and mum was a warrior but in her own very graceful and kind way. I feel such a loss now that she has moved on, i can only imagine your pain.
Know that she was such an inspiration to so many in both her knowledge but also her own style of practice. We are all going to miss her so much.
Very best to all her friends and family.
RIP Patricia, who was an inspiration to so many people and a beacon of hope. Let not that light dim as it burns in so many of us know because of Patricia blazing a trail. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
I cannot expressed the shock I felt when hearing of the passing of Patricia. My sincere condolences to you Johnny and all Patricia's family for your loss of your beautiful Patricia. Words cannot express of what I’d love to be able to say to comfort you and ease your pain. I feel so much pain and sadness and I only knew a tiny bit of her. And yet she has had a huge influence on my life and has made an impact, as she has for so many people.
I first met Patricia in the student clinic at IINH about 10 years ago, and I still remember exactly what she said back then, the advice she gave. I met her on several occasions over the years, and there was always something I picked up, and remember
. Like the time, in the Happy Pear, when I proudly told her that I’m cutting down on bread, and she told me she’s gone a step further and also cutting down on fruit.
In the last number of years, I met Patricia at Nutrition conferences, took part in her courses, bumped into her at the airport and somehow she always left an impression. There are many reminders of her in my house, such as the cookbook that is nearly always open on the kitchen counter, or the keto-mojo, or the supplements she recommended. She will always be in my thoughts and I will never forget her.
Johnny, please mind yourself now in those difficult times, be strong. Wishing you all the strength you need for you and your family. Sending lots of love, Ilona Madden

My deepest sympathies to all Patricia's loved one esp. her husband and 2 children. I was a follower of Patricia online and attended a number of her online seminars (pre-aware days). I learnt SO, SO much from her....she had such a gift for imparting nutritional/scientific information in such an easy, relatable manner. It sparked an interest for me and left me always wanting to learn more. She was so easy to listen to, so knowlegable and it was obvious she was absolutly passionate about her work (of course her own journey was so inspiring). Thank you Patricia for introducing me to the whole world of metabolic health, for inspiring me to take care of my own health more and for just being a person who cares. May your beautiful soul be at deep peace now.
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Patricia. Shocking on so many levels- especially that her Light was shining so bright in life!! I'm praying her children and family find peace in this tragic loss. Sincerely, Sheila (Boulder, co)

My deepest condolences to Patricia’s family and friends for the loss of such a vibrant and caring woman. We met about 12 years ago when we discovered we’d both been inspired by Dr Coy’s research. Her positive attitude was infectious and she had such a can do mentality always learning more and so eager to share her vast knowledge with others on all things nutrition and research. Patricia was an extremely loyal customer of my business but it was an honour to get to know her over the years. Thinking of you all Johnny, Leona & Conor. Patricia will be greatly missed by all who crossed her path.

Deeply saddened at the loss of such a leading light in the field of nutritional medicine. Patricia will be sorely missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her and benefit from her courage, knowledge and wisdom. Deepest sympathy to her nearest and dearest.
Patricia, your positivity and unwavering strength were truly inspiring. Your beautiful smile lit up every room, and your friendship was a gift I will always cherish. You fought so bravely against cancer, never losing hope or your determination to live life fully.

Even through your suffering, you never complained—you faced every challenge with grace and courage. You still had so many dreams and plans, like diving in the red sea, embracing life’s wonders with your adventurous spirit.

I will deeply miss our walks through UCD, where we shared wonderful conversations and moments of joy.

Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you.

Ruhe in Frieden, liebe Patricia!

Deine Anna

Johnny, Conor and Leona,
My heart is sore for you, Patricia was a gem, who held her knowledge lightly, interested in all around her. It’s seems like yesterday we were sitting in Casa da Guia, in Cascais. It’s been a long year for you. May she rest in peace, and be looking down with a glint in her eye, celebrating your joys and feeling your hurt. She is all around you. Thinking of you and yours at this time.
Very sad to hear about the passing of Patricia and my condolences to all of her family and friends. She was one of my very first customers, and was very supportive of our farm and our produce, and although I wouldn't have know her very well, she was always very kind and a wealth of information.
Thinking of you

Lovely Patricia. Tenacious P. I still recount the tale of our epic food fight in your kitchen the night of your first diagnosis. It speaks of your spirit. No wallowing no self pity , just strength and humor and determination. And as you so eloquently said recently when my mum passed " rest peacefully for a while and then go create mischief elsewhere" x
