I hold lovely memories of much younger times & school days when Patricia & her sister Detta attended at the Mercy Convent, Philip St, Waterford. Their long, single plaits seemed to reach the entire length of their back & were always a sense of wonder & fascination to me as a short haired school girl.
Lovely memories also of the Waters playing in their riverside garden when we visited with their near neighbours & our family friends, The Denn’s, ‘out the rock’.
Many thanks to Toni for her listening ear & allowing me the luxury of remembering & recalling those halcyon days of childhood.
May Patricia rest in peace reunited with her loved ones gone before her.

I had the pleasure of time shared with the Finnegan family when they resided in Cork Road. Linda shared a few years with me in primary school.

In later years I taught Patricia's grandchildren, Aoife and Rachael piano. To this present time Rachael and I stay in touch with one another.
