I only just heard the sad news about Patricia’s passing. My sincere condolences to Martin, PJ and all her family at this very sad time. I will always remember her smiling, chatting and very being very glamorous. Such a lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. May she rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Patricia's passing. My heartfelt & deepest sympathy to Charles, children, all the Gallagher family; Patricia's father PJ , brother Martin & MC Caffrey family. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. I don't know what to say. I only know that people like "Patricia" always make the world a better place for us all. She was always kind, caring, a very positive person, a delighted to be in her company. It was my privilege to be part of Hole in the Wall working team member. I cherished my time working for Patricia , PJ & Martin. I will truly miss you Patricia. You will always be in our hearts. May your gently soul rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the McCaffreys and Gallaghers. Both families were and remain treasured family friends. Patricia will be missed as a calming presence whether it was at the Phoenix Park racecourse of old or when helping her father in the family business. A great woman.

We just heard the very sad news of the death of Patricia McCaffrey Gallagher. We extend our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to her husband, Charles, to her children: Rachel, Michelle, Isobel, Conor and Philip, to her father, P.J. and brother, Martin. We remember Patricia as a beautiful young child playing with her brother, Martin, when my sister, Yvonne Courtney Mitchell and I visited with Margaret and P.J. so often in their lovely home when we were students at UCD. We always received the warmest of welcomes from all the McCaffreys, and it was our home away from home! There is an old proverb: "Say not in grief that she is no more, but live in thankfulness that she was." May she rest in peace.

Frequented the Hole in the Wall many years ago and got to know Patricia as she helped behind the bar. She was a very stylish young lady and when we reacquainted in London many years later she had become a beautiful wife and mother.
