Farewell Patricia. I’ll miss you terribly.
The craic we had on weekends spent at the Bridge table in such exotic places as Loughrea, Athlone, Carrickmacross and Carlow will stay with me forever. The absolute joy she took in being a torment to the self-appointed experts when we took them down a peg still makes me smile. Even when things went bad for us (usually in the Masters) she always had the positivity to say that we’d be miles better the following year, and she was right.
She was generous, patient, and kind and a great partner.
