I was saddened today to read of Patricia’s passing.
She lived in # 1. Lab. Sq. and I in # 10. Patricia, was an ever present figure in my childhood, as was her family, while growing up. Her quiet gentle voice and smile never changed over the years. Whilst home on holiday some years ago, we happened upon each other in West St. We went for coffee in the Gateway and 2 hours later, had reminisced our hearts out. I recall thinking how unchanged that gentle lady was and my day was all the brighter for our meeting.
