Sincere sympathy to Helen, Frances, Mary Catherine, Pádraic and Anne and grandchildren and extended family on your mother’s passing. A great loss. Many great memories of Mrs O’ Brien teaching down through the years. She never changed a bit. In particular I remember she and my mother going to Galway County Library to rescue redundant books, repair those that needed repairing and setting up a library in the classroom. She gave us time in class to borrow and read those books and record the title and author in our notebooks. She instilled a love of reading- a gift for life. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
