To dear Patrick, John and Denise, it was with deep sadness that we heard of the death of Pat. We were so lucky to have met Pat last July at my mother’s funeral and she had a great chat with my kids. I know that herself and Michael were good friends of my parents. May you find comfort in the fact that Pat was with you for so long. For Marie, Denise and all the family, Pat was someone so very special and deeply loved. She was a joy to spend some time with and to be happy. You will be missed Pat.

On behalf of the bridge club in DLGC, I would like to extended condolences to the Burke family. Pat was a long time and enthusiastic member of the club. Pat will be remembered fondly by all who played with her for her good humour and clever play. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

On 12th December Pat left us to join her husband Michael and Dun Laoghaire Golf Club was left bereft of a great stalwart of the golf and bridge club.
Pat was always the essence of elegance and had a great welcoming and inclusive way about her. Pat will be missed by many many people, friends, colleagues and of course her family.
