So sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. She was always larger than life, such strength of character and always ready with humour and a great laugh. As kids we loved calling in at Halloween, she was the only house giving out Mars Bars & crisps in a sea of apples and nuts! She was a great friend to my Mom over the years. RIP Pat xx,

Aunty Pat, a charismatic force, a beacon of smiles and laughter, a well of warmth and affection. We knocked, she opened the door of her heart, and all at once you were at home! You’ll always be missed but never forgotten.

So many great memories of visits to Woodbrook Park. How lovely it was to be there with her neighbours today as they lined the road to remember lovely Aunty Pat. It'll be a late one up above tonight and a lot of tea will be drunk as she catches up with Paddy, Philly and a whole bunch of other friends and family!

What can we say .. such a wonderful lady - opened her heart and home to us, came to visit us even when we didn’t know in portlaoise!.. granny pat was a legend .. solid and always there for us .. if you new and loved her family … any stray friends were welcome. Great and fond memories of our years in Dublin ..granny pat introduced me to Gin ( with rose Ellen’s help) .. what can I say ., . a lifetime achievement! So sorry to hear the passing of Granny Pat, I have wonderful memories of our chats in the shop and her laugh I can still hear, the wonderful nights we had at Christmas with Pat and the family I will always remember, thinking of you all at this sad time.
