Sincere condolences to John, Robert, Helena, Celia, and extended Fisher family. Pat was one of those quietly special people who made the world gentler just by being in it. A nurse by trade and a carer by nature, her kindness extended far beyond people — to birds, hedgehogs, foxes, bees, butterflies, and every little creature that found its way into her garden. She let the wildflowers grow, listened for the cuckoo across Carraigower bog on summer evenings, and took real joy in living in harmony with the world around her.
She loved a good chat too — about flowers growing under the hawthorn hedge, local history and the families of years gone by, or a golf match she’d watched on the telly. A proud Rory McIlroy fan, she knew her stuff and could talk golf with the best of them.
Pat will be sorely missed in Carraigower, by friends and neighbours, and by all the little critters who knew her kindness too. Rest in peace, Liz Magee
