Remembering Pat for our sister Eileen, who predeceased her by some years, and for the happiness they radiated growing up together through all the years our Hayden family rented No. 2 in the Bawn Summer after Summer from Mrs George Archer, only three doors from Ronnie and Tommy Dunne in No.5.. Heaven, surely, is the brighter this morning.

One of my earliest memories is of my late sister Eileen and Pat taking me and Desmond for a picnic up little Sugarloaf . And so glad to have met up with Pete and Pat with my wife Lee so many years later in Jersey. Although we did not meet often Pat and the Dunne family have never been out of our thoughts and are especially in them now at this sad time.

Fond memories of Summer in the Bawn and Pat who was best friend to our sister Eileen. They remained friends all their lives.
Eating ice cream prepared by Mrs. Dunne, delicious a fourpenny wafer.
