Pat, a friend and neighbour whose kindness, warmth, and enthusiasm for life touched everyone around her. She was not just a neighbour to the girls next door on Dale Road, she was a wonderful influence and someone who brought joy and learning to their childhood.
We were inspired by Pat’s deep love for gardening and the natural world. Pat’s garden was her pride and joy that she tended to with great care.
Through a hole in the hedge, we would have lots of conversations about Pat’s flowers. The names, and the special details that made them unique.
Pat welcomed the girls in to pick fruit from her garden, sharing not just her harvest but also her love for nature’s bounty. The sound of Pat’s lawnmower and playing the Piano became a comforting backdrop to our lives.
Pat’s lively nature was unforgettable with her stylish bob, high heels, and signature Cap,she radiated a timeless charm.
Her faith in God was a guiding force in her life.
But most of all Pat was simply always there, a constant presence as the girls grew up, a great neighbour in a very special way. She had a gentle wisdom that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Her greatest legacy though, is that of her Two wonderful daughters Joyce and Avril.
We honor her life and the joy she brought to us all. We will miss you, Pat.
Thank you for all the love and light you shared so generously. The Daly Family
— Jean Daly
My deepest sympathies to Pat's family at this time of loss. Pat was a neighbour of mine when I lived in Kilmacud throughout the 1990s. We attended church together and did home Bible studies in 1991 and 1992. Pat was a kind, friendly, sincere and godly woman. She was also an exceptionally talented gardener!

Sleep well, Pat, "You will be rewarded at the resurrection of the just" (Luke 14:14)
