PATRICIA (PAT) LYONS

Sincere sympathy to Mag Lyons and to all of Pat’s family, neighbours, friends and all who knew her. Pat was a perfectionist, she loved Saint Patrick’s Church, Nohoval and her regular visits to Pat Ahern’s Shop. Safe to say that Pat would have been very happy with her Requiem Mass, it was such a beautiful tribute and sendoff. Well done to all involved. May Pat rest peacefully and watch over you always.

She was a lovely lady who will be greatly missed by all of you. She was a brilliant Sacristan in St.Patrick’s Church, Nohoval for years. She was always so helpful to all the Priests and Bishops,who celebrated Mass there, especially Canon Murphy in his long service in the Parish and to the PUBLIC in general in organising anniversary Masses, Christenings etc over the years. She has given great service too, in our Parish Pastoral Council always willing to attend our meetings, engaging in discussion and willing to work with her colleagues and our current Priests, Monsignor Aidan, Fr. James and Fr. Michael, for the benefit of all our Parishioners, visitors to our Churches and to all Priests. Pat, we will miss you.Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May her gentle soul res in peace.
