Very sorry to learn of the death of Pat, a truly nice person.
Working in the library of the Institute for Industrial Research and standards, she was a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient colleague.
I came to know Pat quite well after she retired and moved with Duncan to set up home near the border at Fivemiletown, County Fermanagh. Both were dog lovers and in the 1990s they minded our dog several times when we were on holidays.
More importantly, it is great that her service to the Camogie Association is being so well recognised.
May her good soul rest in peace.
Kind regards,
Kevin O'Rourke

Heartfelt condolences to Roger & the extended Rafferty family on Pat's passing.
I had the pleasure of playing alongside Pat after she established our camogie club in the 80's. She was the rock on which Plunkett's camogie club was built. She was our captain, coach and mentor. Off the pitch she enhanced our capacity as administrators and referees. She was so proud when after a few short years, we were promoted to Senior status. I will be forever grateful to Pat.
Her work on/off the pitch ensured we created happy memories in addition to forging life long bonds and friendships. A formidable lady, who has left a wonderful legacy. Rest in eternal peace Pat.

In remembrance and appreciation for Pat's service to Camogie in her role as National President 2000-2003. First met Pat in my role as a Kildare Camogie Board officer. We invited the President to come to Moorefield GAA to present medals to a Kildare camogie underage blitz circa 2002/3. Around then 'medals for participation' was gaining in popularity and Pat gracefully presented more than 120+ medals on the day! Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dhílís.
Rest in peace gentle lady
Thinking of Roger, Jackie, Andrew, Rachel and all the family. May Pat Rest In Peace xx
