As you mourn the recent passing of your mother Patsy,we think and pray for you through those difficult weeks and months.
Patsy taught me geography and some other subjects for a time at Scoil Mhuire Strokestown always working hard to make me learn in class.
I now appreciate the effort she made.
Thinking of Cregg and Dolan family presently.
Rest in Peace Patsy.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Patricia. She was part of our family for nearly 40 years. Seamus and herself taught together for nearly 40 years. She taught me accounting in Strokestown until my leaving cert in 1974. She then went on to teach our three daughters until 2007 one of which is an actuary due to her. Then in 2007 she retired along with Séamus and Sister Patricius. She will be sadly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Dolan a most wonderful teacher and role model to all her students in Scoil Mhuire. I have lovely memories of Mrs. Dolan who also quietly and kindly watched out for any student who might need a little extra help.

I would like to express my heartfelt sorrow to the family of Patsy Cregg on learning of her sad passing.
Patsy and I grew up together as neighbours in a happier world. Looking back I can say that we were very close friends, soul mates one might say, being of similar ages and sharing similar interests going to school and the dances.
It was always wonderful to meet up with Patsy when home on vacation and reconnect with the past. I cannot help recalling the words of that song “living next door to Alice” because back in our teenage years Patsy really was the girl next door.
I lost my dear sister Mary earlier this year and now hearing of Patsy’s death, I feel that I have lost yet another sister. The very mention of her name brings a smile and happy memories.
May she rest in peace. Amen
