If ever there was a person who put others before herself it was Patsy. She would do anything for another person and didnt expect anything in return.... this is truely the sign of a wonderful person and from my experience of dealing with Patsy in my shop I can honestly say she was one of the most wonderful people I was priviledged to have known. To Liam senior and Liam Junior Mark and most especially Paula thanks for the wonderful care you gave Patsy over the last number of months You were blessed to have a wife and mother with Patsys qualities. Patsy has been a treasured member of our Dungarvan Church Choir since it’s founding in 1999 along with her brothers Lar , Shem and the late Sam .
Patsy was always the first to offer if we needed anything for the Choir - or to give advice , she was always so accommodating and helpful to everyone .
Patsy was central to all the different events that the choir got involved in, in the Village, from the singing round the Christmas Tree , to making sure that Santa would be on time to meet local children , or in the organising of our annual get together of all in the village after Mass on Christmas Eve - Patsy would be there to lend a helping hand and to make sure all would go smoothly .
She will be very sadly missed by all in the Choir and in the wider community .
We extend our sincere condolences to Liam Snr , Paula, Liam Jnr and Mark - also to Patsy’s brothers and sister, grandchildren , nieces nephews, relatives and friends and the wider Kirk and Gibbons families we are thinking of you all at this very sad time .
