I loved the way she said that beautiful prayer. STAY WITH ME LORD. and every time we sing. Jesus name above all names. I think of her. I'm sure you all feel a big hole in your hearts at her passing. Ah Dear Patty, may she rest in joyful peace. Patty was so full of Faith she had a big influence on our family. After Mass in OLMC, Patty always had words of encouragement for our own children and for the wider community of children who came up to pray the Our Father in Irish Sign Language. She told them they were great, great to be getting up and praying the Lord’s Prayer, she would say “ sure when you have the Lord, you have everything you need”. Thank you Patty.

I am very sorry to read of Patty's passing.
Before closing my practice in 2002 I was GP to members of the Leonard family. Patty and I became very good friends. Even after retiring I would meet her out and about. Very often in Coolmine Sport Complex swimming pool.
She always felt that an active life leads to a long life . How true that is.
She had an amazing sense of humour. We had a great laugh during Italia 90 when she told me that one of her grandsons was named after Packy Bonner and David O'Leary. That's what being a soccer fan does to you !!
Patty had a along and fulfilled life. However the older a parent is when they pass away , the more they are missed when they have gone.
The loss of a cherished mother leaves a great void in our lives.
But, what wonderful memories you must have. Be consoled with those.
My prayers and thoughts are with you at this very sad time.
She is now reconciled with her beloved Jackie
