Peter, your eulogy was beautiful and as you said you could have spoken for a long time and I could have listened for a long time, such was your mothers full and happy life.

Pat was truly a wonderful lady. Family was everything to her, and she kept a keen interest in all their lives. She had a lovely warm and sincere disposition about her, and a very open view on life’s issues. The children who were minded by her were indeed fortunate to have been in her care, and they in turn loved her dearly.
We will miss our chats with her, her twinkling smile, and not least, her Christmas shortbread!

So very sorry Anne and all your family on the sad passing of your Mum. May she rest in peace. She was a lovely friendly lady who was very generous with her time. I once received a pot of the most delicious marmalade from her and told that I had forgotten what real marmalade tasted like. We will all miss her dearly in our parish of Glasthule.

Deepest sympathy to Ann, Patricia, the extended Swords family and Jamie. Patricia was a wonderful kind, generous lady who with her beloved Jamie were a loyal, dedicated Visiting Team
with Irish Therapy Dogs since 2008. As a Visiting Team they brought many special moment to Residents in Care Centres. Patricia was very much loved and will be very much missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace.

Mrs Swords was a wonderful presence in my life, as in many others. She looked after me for many years, from when I was a tiny infant, with kindness, care and love. I felt like a part of the Swords Family as I was welcomed by you all. Our families have remained firm friends over the years. One of my favourite memories is of bringing my own children to visit on Halloween as she always had special treats for them.
My condolences to all her family. I am so sorry for your loss but am so grateful that I was fortunate enough to have known her.

Patsy was a treasured aunt for the 74 years of my life. As a child we adored her and this continued into our adult years with frequent visits across the Irish Sea. She was loving and open in her attitudes to life. Her legacy is her wonderful family, she has been a great role model for us all.

She was my aunt, but she was also a treasured friend.
