We went to school together, had fun and learned Irish together in the Gaeltacht, and shared the joys and pains of growing up and into adulthood. I am so very sorry to hear of Patricia’s death. A full and promising life cut short far too early. We worked together as teaching colleagues in St. Joseph’s N.S., where she impressed me with her diligence and humour. She always put the needs of her students to the fore and was keen to create fun and joy in their lives. She kept in touch with her long and informative Christmas letters and I know she was totally devoted to her darling son Fergal. My sympathies to Michael, Fergal and all her family. May she now rest in eternal peace
