I was so sorry to hear of Patricia’s passing and I wish you the strength and courage to get through this sad time. My own and Mary’s friendship with her goes back over fifty-five years and I can only say that Patricia's love, humour and kindness have enriched so many lives.

She was a lovely lady. A well regarded bridge player and valued member of the Templeogue Castle Bridge Centre community. She gave generously of her experience and expertise and her work as a bridge teacher contributed greatly to its success, as her former pupils will testify.

Conor, bhí uafás orm cloisteáil faoi bhás Pat. Chuir mé aithne uirthi i Scoil na Leanbh, Coláiste na Rinne i 1959-1960 agus ansin bhíomar le chéile i Scoil Chaitríona. She adored Elvis when we were young. I will never forget going to see GI Blues with her in the Adelphi cinema. The two of us screamed our heads off every time he appeared on screen. I won’t be in Ireland to attend her funeral but she will be in my heart for ever. What an amazing person she was. May her brilliant soul find eternal rest.

Patricia was my bridge teacher and introduced me to the game. She was a wonderful teacher and was so generous with her time. She gave such encouragement, knowledge and confidence to all her students and it is a credit to her that so many are still playing.
