We would like to sympathize with the family of Pat, Pat was such a loving character, mam used to love meeting him and chatting for ages about old stories from the past. My sister and I always bumped into pat out walking. We also had a laugh with him. He was such a positive outgoing gentleman and was known by alot of people. He was a lovely neighbour and friend, he will be missed dearly by all who knew him and all the advice he used to give. Rest in peace pat 🙏

As well as having a wealth of historical knowledge, Paddy was a warm, friendly and sincere man. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Pat was loved by so many and adored by his beautiful family, and for that he led a rich and beautiful life. When meeting Pat, I loved that he always had a story to tell, and he absolutely lit up when recalling those tales or facts. An intelligent and kind man who will be dearly missed. Sending condolences to Jason, Karen, Maeve, Claire and all the family, my thoughts are with you as you navigate life without Pat.

Sincere sympathy to all who loved Pat and that were loved in return by him.My friendship with Pat goes back to the days when he was "chasing" Phil a neighbour from Garryowen.Over the last few years our paths would cross as I done the 3 bridges walk and Pat would be holding court with the same group on the quays with Pats voice to the fore.I loved to remind him that he was the only person that I knew whos Payslip appeared in a Museum.This I believe he donated to the Ranks Flour exhibition on display a few years ago.He also contributed greately with all the information that he passed on to the organisers of it.Rest in peace united after so long with Phil.
