Geraldine and Katie, I was shocked and saddened to learn last night (2nd September) from uncle Tony that your beloved Dad had passed away in July. While I knew he was unwell, I was not aware of his passing. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your families, to aunt Joan, uncles Tony and Christy and all the extended family members. I have lovely memories of many happy times spent with your parents and their families in Murroe and Dooradoyle over the years, especially during the 1960s. Your Dad was a kind, generous and hard working husband, parent and grandparent; May his gentle soul now find well merited Peace and Rest in Eternal Life, reunited with his beloved Patricia.

It was with sadness that I heard of the passing of Patrick.
