Patrick Carroll

I was sorry to hear of Pat’s recent passing and I extend sincere condolences to Joan and family on your great loss. Pat was a dedicated member of the SFO Council in the Merchant’s Quay Fraternity for many years, where he was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was always so pleasant, kind and helpful even to bringing in Joan’s home baked treats for fundraising events. Pat will be fondly remembered and may he Rest in Eternal Peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Paddy's passing.
I worked with Paddy from 1987 until his retirement from Bolton St.& He was a great work colleague, friend and conscientious member of staff.

On behalf of President Brendan Moran, Committee Members and all members of the CMWS Ringsend we would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of our brother Pat Carroll. To Pat's wife Joan, his children Anne-Marie, Siobhan, Paul and Maureen, his grandchildren and extended family you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult and sad time. Pat did trojan work on behalf of the CMWS he spent his lifetime working for the good of the branch always with a great sense of humour. He was fully committed and was a great influence on all the junior members that passed through the branch. Pat was a junior member, adult member, committee member, Hon Treasurer just some of his accomplishments. Indeed he received the Gold Emblem as a token of the branch's appreciation for all the work that he did and he was a lifelong member. It was a privilege and an honour to have known him and he will never be forgotten by all those who knew and loved him as his memory will be kept alive forever in their hearts. Pat's footprints are enshrined forever in the branch in Ringsend and he will never be forgotten. We would also like to thank his family for all their support of Pat and lending him to us. To Patrick's family. I was so sorry to here of Patricks passing. As a young lad growing up in Ringsend i can remember Patrick in the CYMS when my Dad Brendan would bring me after Sunday Mass to the CYMS. Patrick would always greet us with a huge smile and his jovial great sense of humour. A true Gentleman. May Patrick rest in peace.

It was with great sadness we learned of the passing of our esteemed collegue Pat. A man that gave his life to the CYMS over his lifetime,holding positions as treasurer in the Ringsend branch,and was also National President over a number of years.
