I'm so very sorry to hear about Patrick. My hearfelt condolences to all his family and friends. We worked together many years ago in Lucent, where he was the most chilled IT guy around. He was a lovely person, always with a smile. I hope the music he loved will bring some comfort to you in the days ahead. Rest easy Pat
My condolences to all the family. I worked with Patrick over 15 years ago in Symantec in Blanch. He was a gentleman. He had the best sense of humor. I'm smiling thinking of his funny stories. RIP.

My sincere condolences to the entire Collins family.
I had the privilege of working with Patrick during my time at Coupa, and I will always remember the guidance and leadership he showed through every challenge. He was a true inspiration to me and to many others.
I will cherish the memories of working alongside him.
I am grateful to have known him. RIP🙏
I have just heard the sad news of Patrick's passing, my deepest condolences to his wife Gennie, sons Harry and Daniel and to his two sisters Debbie and Liz and to his mam Patsy. May Patrick rest in eternal peace.
40 years we knew each other ,never an argument or fallout , aiways good company slagging each other ferociously. A unbelievable twist of faith brought us even closer in the latter years where we still found humour in cruel circumstances and provided comfort for each other. Rest now Paddy ,you will be always in my thoughts and prayers and missed greatly.
To Liz & all the extended families, my sincere condolences to you on the passing of Patrick. What a lovely gentle man. Always had time to stop & say hello. May he rest in peace. May the memories you shared together bring you comfort in the days ahead.
Margaret.
Gennie I’m so sad to hear of Pat’s passing. My sincerest condolences to you, the boys and all of Pat’s family. So many fond memories of Pat and many many laughs. Hope he’s enjoying the best of gigs somewhere in the great beyond.
I still remember meeting Patrick all those years ago in Symantec, his big, beautiful, serene and calm blue eyes, his kindness and honesty exuding from his face, voice, demeanour. I truly liked him a lot. I am delighted he had been so lucky with his family, his wife and his boys. I hope you will try and focus on that, but I know so well that despair, sadness, and anger at the sheer robbery of all his years ahead will be prevalent now and for much time to come. I have these feelings for my own Aidan, who left us 3 years to the day before Patrick did. I'm afraid I still do, but am slowly trying to focus on the gift they gave us by having simply chosen to live with us. It helps, it's not easy, but it helps. Patrick was a really nice guy, and had set many an example, most certainly, like Aidan, in his last period on earth. Let's follow their teaching, allow the grief in our lives, be as courageous in grief as they were courageous in facing their demise. Being courageous in grief pales in comparison, doesn't it? So, to Patrick's dearest and loved ones I can say I am so sad and so sorry for Patrick and for you, many others and I know what's happening to you, and will keep you in our hearts so that you'll find the courage to live as fully and as happily in the future as Patrick would have wished for you.
Hi Liz, I was very sorry to hear from you that your brother Patrick had passed away, obviously very prematurely. It is a real tragedy and impossible to understand why these things happen. I hope you are doing as well as possible under the circumstances. May the Lord grant Patrick eternal rest and console you and his family. Take care. Joe

Gennie & boys
We are sorry for your loss, thinking if you all at this very hard time.
RIP Patrick
I knew Patrick from our time with the OLV boys club back in the 1980s. He was an all-rounder, excelling at several sports. I had some great battles with Patrick at pool and particularly table tennis, where he was always just too strong for me in the end. But he was the most gracious of winners, which is the true mark of a champion, and he would always encourage others to keep going.

I bumped into him a couple of times in the years since and he hadn't changed a bit. He was simply one of the nicest people you could have met. Sincere condolences to Patrick's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
Thinking of our friend Liz and her family at this sad time may Patrick RIP 🙏

So sad to hear of Patrick's passing as everyone is saying he truely was a true gentleman. Caught up with him in the last 15 years at various concerts reliving our youth and love of music and really enjoyed reminising our teenage years sitting on the wall under the street lamp in the square listening to music and watching DFW do their breakdancing. My heart is broken for his wife and boys, his mother and sisters and extended family members.
Rest in peace Patrick

Patrick was a star in the OLV boys club in the 1980’s, watched over and mentored by his proud dad and all the great leaders who gave up their time, energy and wisdom. Whatever the sport Patrick was a natural winner, a force of nature, boundless energy and a pure gentleman.

So sad to hear of Paddy's passing and deepest condolences to all the Collins family. A nicer person you could never meet. We were in secondary school together and spent so much time chatting over shared interests in music and sport. He was a great sportsman and we played Gaelic Football together where he regularly made the difference with his skill and never ending energy. Above all he was such a smart and funny bloke and I was glad to have known him. May he rest in peace.
