Happy memories of Taverners cricket and the Tumbleweeds and a wonderful story dad used to tell of how Paddy stood up for a fellow classmate in Pres and how the class went ‘on strike’ in support of him when he was chastised. Sincere sympathy to Rita and family on the death of Paddy. Paddy was such a gentleman always with a smile and laugh. Fifty years ago I played mixed foursomes in Bandon GC with Paddy and he drove the 16th green, he was a big hitter of the ball, which was phenomenal at the time. I never forgot it in all the years since. Rest in Peace Paddy, you'll be very much missed.
