It was with profound sadness that we learned of Paddys passing this past week and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. His love of hurling was known to all who had the privilege of playing with or against him.

Patrick was a dear colleague. I’ll always remember our conversations in the staff room, his funny and intelligent remarks and, of course, his kindness. He was also my housemate for a few months back in 2020, always so calm and respectful. He played his whistle everyday for a couple of minutes, it was lovely to listen to him play. He will be missed.
