My deepest sympathies to all of the Cronin family at this sad time. I spoke to Patrick a few times a week, every week for the last two years and particularly in recent months when his health deteriorated and he needed regular hospitalization. He spoke of working with vintage machines, family holidays in Ballyheigue, working as a painting contractor and particularly of his wife Cecilia and the sad way she died. May they rest in peace together.
