Firstly condolences to my to my dear friend Patrick's family.

Myself and Paddy first met in 1986 in Toronto, we both had applied for a stonemasons job through the Evening Herald in Dublin.
We both got the job, lived in the same house and worked for the same company Clifford Masonary.
Alas my circumstance changed, had to leave as my dear Father was dying, and Paddy helped me to get home.
We had lost contact for 34 years, but walked into the Fowler in Gorey one day, struck up a conversation with a man sitting beside me over a pint of Guinness and suddenly realised we knew each other, it was the one and only Paddy my workmate and dear friend from all those years ago.
Paddy/Patrick may you rest in peace among the angels in heaven now my dear friend, I hope you play a good tune and sing a good sing, you will be sadly missed by all who knew you regards, Paul Doyle Gorey Co Wexford, formally Dublin
