It was with great sadness and fond memories, on hearing of Ducks passing. He was such a nice man, always delighted about developments and growth of Robertstown. He will be sadly missed.

Heartfelt Condolences to the Extended Moran Families on the sad loss of a warm-hearted, good-humoured Dad and Grandad. We had many a tune in the 1970s in Mullany's next to the Big House and, if we were lucky, "Skibbereen". People naturally gravitated to Ducks, such was his humble nature and brilliant box-playing. He just liked people & they liked him. Robertstown has lost another character but The Lord wants him more.
Who can blame Him? RIP.

Sincere & heartfelt sympathy to all the Moran family on the sad passing of Ducks. He truly was a great character and a gifted accordion player. Treasured memories of times past when he played with my father Christy on the 'Shamrock Star Ceili Band'. Sadly they have all passed on to the big venue in the sky and i can only hope that they are all re-united and waiting to welcome Ducks up for his next big session.
