We were very sad to hear that Pat Treacy had died .A very remarkable man . He secured our first house in Ireland when we came to Nenagh in 1979. An outstanding Solicitor , he looked after us throughout our time there , and for many years after we left .Organised , desk clear every day when he finished his work , full of wisdom , and sound common sense advice , on all matters legal , but also advice that was priceless on daily matters , which he gave to clients , and friends alike . He was a modest down to earth man , a great listener , and he had the most wonderfull humour , and razor sharp wit . He could hold a table spellbound with his stories , both funny , and serious. A unique raconteur .
Eileen and himself minded us , advised us , and entertained us during our time in Nenagh , and we were forever grateful for their friendship , and support . A man of immense charm , and warmth , who I have not seen for over 30 years , but I remember him like yesterday . May he rest in peace now . Deepest sympathy to all his family .
