I have the most wonderful memories of Pat in my younger years...from saving me from daddy long legs on my sleep over to trusting me with a hammer and nails at the age of 6. The memories go on. He was a wonderful, kind and generous man. May he rest in peace now.

Our very deepest sympathy to Sheila and the family on the sad passing of Pat. During his life, Pat was an icon in the GAA in Killeevan, Monaghan, London and Cork and he has left a rich legacy that will never be equalled. His love of place was a key element in his life and while he lived and worked in London and Cork, his heart was always in the parish of Killeevan and Newbliss village. We very much regret that we were unable to attend the funeral but we were with you in spirit and listened to the beautiful Mass on line. The tributes to Pat were very moving but were richly deserved as he had great rapport with people and was a key cornerstone in the family. RIP Pat.

To Sheila, Caroline, Helena, Eamonn and Peter, it is with great sadness and shock that we learned of Pat's death. He was a friend of mine since we played Inter & Senior Football with Killeevan in the mid-Fifties. Annual phone calls kept us sharing the news of the Club and people we both knew and loved. Mary and I were fortunate to have joined him in family celebrations on 3 occasions in Cork during recent years. The affection and courtesy shown by his family reflected a life of good upbringing and honesty bestowed on them by Pat and Sheila.
We regret that illness prevents us from attending the funeral services in person. We would like to have been there with you to share your sorrow and grief.
Well Pat the final whistle has blown and you head towards the dressing room. You are not gone from us; just a little ahead of us.
