He was such a cheerful man to chat to,full of smiles and laughter and it was always obvious what a proud husband and father he was, as well as a kind and caring dentist. Fond childhood memories of visiting you all on holidays in West Cork and going on Comeragh hillwalks in the 90s. Even to a young child back then it was obvious what a great team you and Gerry were Dee, an inspiring couple. Praying for you all at this very difficult time dealing with such an immense loss. May Gerry rest in peace.

As well as a true gentleman he was an excellent dentist. His calm & kindly manner was hugely reassuring & already much-missed already by the community. It was a pleasure to have the occasional chat with him too, on art (as his paintings hung in the surgery reception area) & books on history etc. Gerry Kaar left a mark that won't be easily forgotten.

Hopefully he & Dee got to enjoy their retirement time together, for some comfort, while he rests in peace.

I am so sorry to hear this very sad news about Gerry. I have such happy memories of working for Dee and Gerry when I was a young dentist as well as playing tennis together in Hillview. Gerry was always most pleasant and kind.

Dear Dee and family, I was so sorry to hear re Gerrys passing. He was my dentist for over 30 years.. from my teenage years through to my career, wedding, children. He was always interested in what I was doing and always so gentle and precise when working on my teeth. He was also very patient and kind with my parents.
