Dear Johnny, Theresa and all of Paddy’s family,

We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of you all.

Although we never had the honour of meeting Paddy, we feel we’ve come to know something of him through the stories Johnny and Theresa have shared over the years.

If part of a life’s legacy is carried in the people who remain, then Paddy’s influence is very much alive in you, Johnny. The way you move through the world as a friend, a partner and a person speaks quietly but powerfully of the family and father who helped shape you. That connection is something precious, and we hope it brings some comfort in the middle of the grief.

We send our deepest condolences as you say goodbye, and we hope that in time the sadness softens and the stories and laughter shared about Paddy bring more smiles than tears.

We didn’t have the honor of knowing Patrick, but we know Johnny well, and he’s one of the kindest and funniest people we havr ever met. That alone says so much about the man who raised him. Sending love and comfort to the whole family during this time.
